It’s time for our hometown event! They have absolutely ensured that there is something for everyone. Steamboat rides, food, hay rides, food, Clydesdales, live music, a water taxi to/from the Nehalem Celebration of Crafts… and did I mention food?
Rain or shine, there will be live music and food at the Nehalem Bay Winery.
Food at 5pm, music starts at 6pm. $5 cover charge.

The contest began in 1965, after the devastating tsunami and resulting damage in 1964. It has grown in popularity and attendance since.

The Astoria Scandinavian Midsummer Festival has been a tradition on the North Coast of Oregon for over forty years. The festival embodies the rich cultural heritage that was transplanted to the Astoria, Oregon region by emmigrating Scandinavians.
