Pasta Night @ Rising Star Cafe

Thursday nights are a cause of celebration here in Wheeler, and with good reason… It’s Pasta Night at the Rising Star Café!

For a mere $10 one can indulge in a blissful dish of pasta heaven- your choice of penne, linguine, or fettuccine, with divine sauces- Bolognese, Pomorola (a rustic red sauce), or Pesto (and on fortunate occasion Alfredo can be found). Combined with fresh bread and a local-grown salad, it simply does not get any better!

This experience comes highly recommended when you’re traveling through Wheeler.

Hawaiian Chieftain in Garibaldi April 13-17

12 miles South of Wheeler lies Garibaldi, who will soon welcome an historic tall ship to its Port.

The ship will open for public tours 4-5 pm, April 14 and 15 and 10 am-1 pm April 16 and 17.

Crew in 18th century costume will welcome visitors. A ticket is not required. A $3 donation per person is requested.
